Quantitative results against various COVID-19 antigens will help trend antibody response over time and can be compared to results of SARS-CoV-2 vaccine efficacy data and alongitudinal studies of patient antibody responses following infection.

Specimens should be delivered to the laboratory as soon as possible. If transport is delayed, specimens (whether separation of plasma has occurred or not) should be refrigerated 2-8C.
The following specimens are not appropriate for testing: grossly hemolyzed, lipemic, icteric, heat inactivated plasma, or specimens with obvious microbial contamination. Plasma samples must not contain particulate matter. Consult the Supervisor/ Reference CLS/Superuser for resolution of any abnormal samples if needed.
